Deer Hollow Farm Wilderness Camp, run by the City of Mountain View Recreation Division, immerses campers in a 10-acre historical homestead nestled within 3,800 acres of Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. Age-tiered programs for ages 6–10, 10–12, and 12–14 offer close encounters with farm animals, nature hikes, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. Older age groups enjoy special overnight experiences: the 10–12 group concludes with a sleepover in the Ohlone Village, while the 12–14 group takes multi-day hikes and spends a final night in the barnyard with animal feeding, archery, meals prepared outdoors, a movie, and sleeping under the stars. A special needs track for ages 6–17 is also available. Financial assistance is available for qualifying Mountain View residents.
