Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo — Summer Camps

The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo offers a rich selection of science-themed summer camps held at multiple Palo Alto venues including the museum, Foothills Park, and Baylands Nature Center. Weekly themes include Jurassic Camp (dinosaurs and geology), Camp Oceana (marine science), Wildlife Camp (outdoor nature exploration with hiking and canoeing), Zoo Camp (hands-on animal experiences), and Camp Kinetic (physics and chemistry). Preschool and kindergarten-specific half-day science sessions are also available. The Science Camp Assistant program gives older students (grades 7–10) paid leadership experience. Scholarships are available for income-qualifying families.
