Camp Silver Tree is San Francisco Recreation and Parks' longest-running and largest summer camp, a generational rite of passage for SF youth since the 1950s. Located deep in Glen Canyon Park, campers ages 6-11 enjoy outdoor activities including bug hunts, nature walks, campfires, fort-building, archery, flag making, and learning fire safety. Named for the silvery eucalyptus trees surrounding the camp, it offers 11 weeks of summer programming with a focus on nature exploration and community building.
